Praslin Bay, St. Lucia (Nov. 17, 2008) – Le Paradis Beach, Golf & Marina Resort, a premier new golf development on the Caribbean island of St. Lucia, was recently honored with the prestigious Americas Property Award at the CNBC International Property Awards Gala held in association with The New York Times.
Le Paradis received 4-stars and was named Best Golf Development in the Caribbean at the 2008 Gala held on Friday, November 7th, 2008 at the Ritz Carlton in Orlando, Florida. Almost 200 professionals from no less than 27 countries gathered for the ceremony.
“We are truly honored to receive this recognition,” said Kierron Dolby, Managing Director of DCG Properties Ltd., Le Paradis’ developer. “The award speaks to our passion and determination to bring world-class golf to St. Lucia while ensuring that the course compliments and preserves St. Lucia’s natural beauty and environment.”
Now in its 14th year, The International Property Awards, dubbed the “Oscars” of the property industry, is one of the world’s largest and most prestigious competitions. The objective of the awards is to encourage excellence in the property industry worldwide and to recognize and promote an international standard. Each year, the prestigious competition receives hundreds of entries. Each entry is judged by a 36 member panel with specific expertise within the property field.
This year’s panel of judges was chaired by British Member of Parliament Eric Pickles for the ninth year. Pickles was joined by the Editor-in-Chief of International Homes, Helen Shield, as well as distinguished experts in the fields of property, design and construction, property writers and fellow sponsors. Their collective knowledge of the property industry is second to none and unsurpassed by any other property awards.

An ultra-exclusive multi-phased luxury residential development, Le Paradis features a Greg Norman Signature golf course, world-class spa, 100-slip marina, yacht club, gourmet restaurants, upscale boutique shopping and conference facilities, anchored by St. Lucia’s first Westin resort.
